Our Mission...

Cedar Hill Church - "A Family of Christ where you belong"
•where everyone is encouraged to grow in their walk with Christ daily
•to live intentionally in the Holy Spirit as they go
•and so create a culture where people are served, invited,and enfolded into the Kingdom

Grow in their walk with Christ refers to the awareness that we grow closer to God in order that we can have the maximum impact on others. While it’s important that we all continue to mature in our faith it’s also important for each of us to share that knowledge with others, realizing that Christians grow best when they are serving and giving themselves away to others.

Live intentionally refers to the grace filled awareness that sinners are being called to new life in Christ and our behavior radiates that awareness. We embody grace and love in our actions and conversation. By being intentional in our actions we become more aware of the Holy Spirit working through us to reach others.

As they go deals with the sense that we are not a geographic church, nor do we have a target audience other than the very people with whom we interact on a regular basis at work, school, recreationally, and in family circles. We are encouraged to look for daily opportunities to serve others.

Served, invited, and enfolded challenges each of us to build relationships with people within the church and with those outside the church. This can be accomplished in one-on-one relationships and in the context of small groups. The focus is on showing our love and concern for others by serving them and praying for each other.

Kingdom, we realize the Lord is accomplishing His goals through us on a wider scale than the congregation at Cedar Hill CRC. At the same time, the church, as the focal point of the kingdom, grows as the kingdom is grown.
